Why early checking matters
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Kuwait.
- Found early, it's highly treatable. The five-year survival rate for early-stage cases exceeds 80%.
- Early cancer often has no signs, which is why screening matters even when you feel fine.
The national screening program is for you if you are:
- Kuwaiti
- Aged 40 to 69
- Free of symptoms
- Not pregnant or breastfeeding
- Without a previous breast cancer diagnosis
- Not screened by mammogram in the past 12 months
